I. Job Description
1. Teaching & Student Development
- Design
lesson plans aligned with Cambridge Lower Secondary Science and IGCSE
Combined Science standards.
- Facilitate
active learning through experiments, group discussions, and science
projects.
- Assess
student performance through tests, assignments, projects, and continuous
feedback.
- Prepare
students for Cambridge Checkpoint and IGCSE exams, including revision,
exam techniques, and academic guidance.
2. Professional Development
- Participate
in internal training and advanced professional development related to the
Cambridge curriculum.
- Stay
updated with modern teaching methods and educational technologies.
3. Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate
with subject teachers to support cross-curricular learning.
- Participate
in academic events, science activities, and international exchange
programs.
- Communicate
regularly with parents regarding students’ academic progress and overall
development.
4. Classroom Management & Record Keeping
- Maintain
a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment.
- Manage
student records, lesson plans, and assessment data in accordance with
school and Cambridge requirements.
II. Candidate Requirements
- Full-time
position.
- Minimum
2 years of relevant teaching experience.
- Bachelor’s
degree or higher in a Science-related field (Physics, Chemistry, Biology,
or General Science).
- Teaching
certification in Natural Sciences; candidates with Cambridge
qualifications or experience in international programs are preferred.
- English
proficiency: IELTS ≥ 7.0 or equivalent (minimum B2, ideally C1).
- Knowledge
of child psychology, modern pedagogical approaches, and student-centered
learning.
- Strong
skills in lesson planning, classroom management, communication (with
students, parents, and colleagues), teamwork, and educational technology.
- Personal
qualities: Passionate, responsible, honest, good communication skills, and
clear pronunciation (neutral accent preferred).
